According to WhySoFrance reports, a fire broke out in a residential building in Paris, France, on March 13.
The fire started at around 4:30 PM on the fourth floor of a seven-storey apartment building on Rue du Faubourg Montmartre in the city’s 9th arrondissement.
The flames quickly spread to the fifth floor.
The Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) deployed about 100 firefighters to the scene.
The fire was brought under control shortly after 5:00 PM.
Authorities confirmed that one person died and three others were seriously injured. Several people also suffered minor injuries.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, which remains unknown.
